Change in management: Sven Paeslack is the new CTO of ROCKETHOME


Sven Paeslack has been at ROCKETHOME GmbH for a few weeks now. In the newly created position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), he is responsible for technology, development and product management. The experienced Internet expert looks back on many years of varied experience in management and has a proven IT expertise, in particular in the field of development, conceptual design and implementation of highly available and scalable web and mobile technologies. In his last position as head of IT, Sven Paeslack was responsible for, among other things, the development and operation of meinestadt.de GmbH, the coverage leader for local and regional information in the German Web.
"It was always my goal to create added value for society. After web portals and apps, the Internet of Things (IoT) will permanently change our way of doing things", says Sven Paeslack adding: “It will certainly be one of the most influential technology movements of this decade, just like the web portal business was - and with ROCKETHOME I play an active role in these.”
Sven Paeslack takes his place in the top management team, alongside CEO Yüksel Sirmasac and CPO Stefan Stangenberg. “I am delighted that with Sven, we have won a high-profile technology expert and a smart leader for ROCKETHOME .”, says Yüksel Sirmasac. “In the interest of our clients, together, we will further expand upon the very good market position in smart home and Internet of Things”

Expansion of the management structure in sales

Sales and business development will also see change: Effective immediately, Carina Diviccaro is stepping up as team leader of sales for "white label solutions" and will be responsible for the sustainable development of customer relationships. Since the company's founding in 2010, she has been the first point of contact for customers and has helped shape the department considerably: "If our partners are successful, then so are we", says Carina Diviccaro, "that's what my team and I are here for."
