ROCKETHOME runs for #ZeroHunger!
With a view of the Cologne Cathedral, the Rockets went to the start line at the #ZeroHungerRun in Cologne's Rhine Park (and virtually on July 8) to send a signal against hunger in the world.
Every year, Welthungerhilfe calls on running enthusiasts in the Rhineland to take part in a charity run. Runners and walkers can choose to run 5 or 10 kilometers. Under this year's motto "Zesamme stonn - Zesamme laufe!", prominent runners will once again lace up their running shoes. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the project work of Welthungerhilfe.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN - Goal 2: Zero Hunger
Since 2015, the United Nations has been committed to developing a sustainable future. As part of the 2030 Agenda, a total of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been set, each dedicated to a global challenge. The second one of these Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs] is "Zero Hunger".)
Welthungerhilfe invokes this goal and calls for action with "Zero Hunger by 2030". The run for a good cause supports aid projects of Welthungerhilfe, for example in Mali, Liberia, Burundi or India.
At ROCKETHOME, we want to motivate each other to do good, achieve goals together and create value. For this reason, we like to combine charitable causes with community activities. Not only do we work together, but we are also a small Rocket community and promote the lived spirit of cooperation.
Thanks to all the Rockets for a great Rocket launch!
